MetOx International specializes in producing High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) wire used to create energy-efficient magnets in sectors like energy, medical, and transportation. Its HTS wire is made through a proprietary manufacturing process that yields high current density, enabling strong magnetic fields for applications such as fusion power and advanced medical devices. The product works by carrying large electrical currents with minimal resistance when cooled, allowing compact, powerful magnets in equipment designers' and manufacturers' systems. MetOx differentiates itself from competitors through its proprietary process that delivers higher current density and scalable, cost-effective production, aiming to reduce the traditional high cost of HTS wire. The company’s goal is to scale global supply and lower costs to enable broader adoption of HTS-enabled technologies across industries.

Mental Detox launches AI journaling app with evidence-based anxiety and sleep support

Mental Detox, a mobile application for emotional journaling and psychological self-help, has launched on the iOS App Store. The app combines AI-assisted journaling with structured psychological support based on clinically validated techniques. The application operates through three AI modules addressing anxiety, chronic stress and sleep difficulties. Each module draws from peer-reviewed research, incorporating techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and grounding exercises. The system applies one technique at a time based on the user's symptom profile to avoid cognitive overload. Mental Detox includes a crisis protocol that scans messages for signals of self-harm or immediate danger, responding with safety checks and crisis helpline numbers. The app supports six languages and is designed as a between-session tool, not a replacement for professional care.
