A Group Fitness Instructor Certification from a recognized organization such as ACE, NASM, or AFAA.
Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and principles, human anatomy, and kinesiology.
Knowledge of group fitness teaching strategies, including music, tempo, and cueing techniques.
Ability to demonstrate skills effectively and modify movements for participants at all fitness levels.
Knowledge of strength training, high-intensity interval training, Tabata, boot camp, sculpt, and senior class instruction modalities.
Ability to handle job responsibilities independently.
Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Availability to work flexible hours as a substitute instructor, including early mornings and late evenings.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator certification.
Responsibilities
Lead regular group workout classes and develop positive relationships with participants through motivational instruction and education.

Prepare and lead effective group classes based on the class description, creating a welcoming environment for participants of every fitness level.
Help participants correct their form, provide alternative movements when needed, and stay motivated to achieve their personal goals.
Clean and organize the group fitness space before and after each class.
Maintain records of classes taught or covered as a substitute, including attendance numbers.
Secure substitute instructors as needed to cover regularly scheduled or agreed-upon classes.
Represent the Fitness Center professionally by greeting residents and serving as a motivational resource.
Maintain direct communication with the Management Team regarding needs, requests, and professional expectations.
Maintain current and accurate certifications.
Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid in an emergency.
Desired Qualifications

We are seeking an energetic and professional individual with experience in Group Fitness Instruction who is also a reliable team player who will motivate and educate residents while promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being. This position is a SUB contractor position that will plug in on an as needed basis only. Open availability weekdays in the mornings and evenings during Fitness Center hours of operation is preferred (5:00AM - 8:00PM).

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the following group fitness modalities: Strength Training, HIIT, Tabata, Boot Camp, Sculpt and Senior class instruction.
Ability to be self-sufficient in handling job responsibilities
Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual
Available to work flexible hours on a Sub Instructor basis including early mornings and late evenings
Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
