Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Ability to respect and promote the interests and mission of The Salvation Army; embracing its religious tenets is not required.
Responsibilities
  • Check voice messages and forward them to appropriate parties.
  • Direct incoming phone calls and inquiries to appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Ensure personnel and visitors entering the building comply with building protocols.
  • Greet visitors in a manner that reflects The Salvation Army's mission and integrity.
  • Engage professionally and positively with the public in person, by email, and over the phone.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Monitor exterior-building video surveillance and report concerns immediately.
  • Open the front gate at the beginning of the workday and secure it at the end of the workday.
  • Accept parcels and inform relevant personnel of deliveries.
