Senior Test Maintenance Engineer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of working experience in related final assembly maintenance.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience are also considered; internship or industrial training is acceptable.
- Good knowledge of electronics testing and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Understanding of test methodologies and problem-solving concepts, including root cause corrective action analysis.
- Good knowledge of circuits, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn, proactivity, and ability to work independently with guidance.
- Formulate maintenance plans for new equipment and machines based on input from station owners and suppliers.
- Troubleshoot equipment based on station-owner troubleshooting guides and study how to prevent recurring problems.
- Liaise with station owners and machine suppliers on continuous improvement.
- Train, coach, and develop technicians to handle test stations effectively in troubleshooting and sustaining.
- Manage and ensure that all manufacturing documents related to maintenance are prepared and uploaded promptly before release for manufacturing operations.
- Optimize and improve equipment reliability and design.
- Execute activities to meet department key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement with realistic goal setting together with the team.
- Evaluate Test Technicians’ performance according to department and individual goals.
- Summarize breakdown reports and provide feedback to the line support team for improvement, including mean time to repair and mean time between failures.
- Execute other related duties assigned by the immediate superior.
