Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or a field that requires a strong mathematical and/or engineering foundation (e.g. physics, aerospace engineering)
  • A minimum of 3+ years of industry experience working on real-world robot perception systems (should have implemented at least two commercial projects working at a systems-level, developing perception software as part of a larger robotics system)
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python, software development in Linux environment
  • Strong experiences in ML/DL development with PyTorch/TensorFlow
  • Experience working on a combination of the following areas: Object Detection in Lidar, Vision, and Radar; Semantic Segmentation in Vision and Lidar; Real-time Computer Vision; Multi-target Tracking; Sensor Fusion; Localization and Mapping; Machine Learning applied to Perception and Robotics problems; Computational Geometry
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with software development in a Linux environment
  • Familiarity with standard development tools such as git, valgrind, and gdb
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other perception and robotics engineers to design, implement, test, and deploy robust, generalizable perception solutions for autonomous vehicles
  • Develop, test, and deploy software in C/C++/CUDA
  • Satisfy team code quality activities including design and code reviews
  • Independently conduct extensive testing to validate features and satisfy releases schedule
  • Support development relate to data, development, and ML pipeline
