Requirements
  • Experience supporting end-to-end hiring processes in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers, ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
  • Skill using an applicant tracking system to schedule, track, and move candidates through interview stages; Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and scheduling tools, with a willingness to learn and use additional tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Demonstrated strength in organization, time management, and prioritization, with a consistent focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members across time zones and functions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values and comfort working in an all-remote, asynchronous environment, including flexibility in working hours to support candidates and hiring teams across multiple time zones.
  • Interest in learning about talent acquisition and contributing to an inclusive hiring process that attracts a qualified, diverse, and motivated team.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with recruiters, hiring teams, and recruiting leadership to understand and execute the hiring plan for each job requisition.
  • Coordinate with recruiters to maintain accurate, up-to-date hiring process information in the applicant tracking system and GitLab repositories.
  • Manage candidate scheduling and act as the recruiting coordinator to organize interviews and keep hiring processes running smoothly.
  • Ensure candidates receive timely, thoughtful, and engaging communication at each stage of the hiring process.
  • Help manage candidate traffic for all roles, monitor pipelines, and flag issues or bottlenecks to the recruiting team.
  • Create and stage employment contracts for candidates receiving offers on behalf of hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Partner with People Operations to create a seamless handoff for new team members joining GitLab.
  • Promote GitLab's values, culture, and all-remote approach in every interaction, acting as a brand ambassador for potential team members.
