The Truist Digital Sales & Performance Marketing Analytics Team works to maximize the return on Truist’s digital investments. This includes supporting the optimization of performance marketing and client experience through insightful measurement and analysis of business objectives to defined digital KPIs.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Partner with senior business leaders to understand business strategy and work in cross-functional teams to drive successful strategic outcomes.
- Lead analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, performance measurement, and the interpretation of results for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead analysis effort to gather, formulate, define, and design solutions to the most complex business problems.
- Analyze, design, and maintain data sources in information systems in support of projects, information needs, and changing requirements.
- Measure client interaction in order to improve client experience, digital adoption, and marketing segmentation using various analytics tools (SAS, Adobe Analytics, R, Python, etc.).
- Apply subject-matter expertise, industry knowledge, and technical understanding to recommend actions to business leaders.
- Act as team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of short-to-intermediate duration.
- Interpret business goals for development of measurement strategies to inform stakeholders of progress against key business objectives.
- Complete analysis to derive data-driven insights on visitor behavior and preferences, including likely approaches for optimization and targeting.
- Monitor site performance to identify site optimization opportunities.
- Partner with digital operations and project teams to develop tagging routines in support of analytics requirements, and to expand the use of analytics across all digital properties.
- Provide marketing database and technical integration in support of digital sales and personalization strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The incumbent must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, business acumen, working knowledge of transaction processing application software, application processing systems, and collection inventory systems, strategic and creative thinking, and excellent written and oral communications skills. 1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 5+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering.
2. Understanding and implementation experience with enterprise digital marketing optimization and analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Marketing Cloud Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Client Journey Analytics (CJA)
3. 2+ years of decision science/analytics project management experience with a diverse project focus and demonstrated results.
3. Must act as role model, able to perform in a cross-functional and collaborative team environment focused on supporting business partners with enhanced insights.
4. Demonstrated ability to engage and support internal business partners, product sets, and projects, connecting insights with execution and business impact.
5. Innovative and strategic thinker with ability to connect to practical application, providing leadership on target initiatives, with a strong bias to action and focus on quantifiable business impact.
6. Experience in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative environment to drive maximum impact.
7. Ability to maintain a high level of competency in statistical and analytical principles, tools, and techniques. Champion application of emerging decision science techniques with business partners.
8. Incumbent should have an understanding of various database environments (IBM DB2, Oracle), technical programming skills (SAS, SQL, Toad), exposure to applied data science tools (R, Python, SAS E-Miner), familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy), and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering.
2. 7+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering.
3. Superior understanding of web analytics tools: Google Analytics and at least one Enterprise-level platform (Adobe Analytics Omniture SiteCatalyst, WebTrends, CoreMetrics).
