Requirements
  • Have a clinical degree, such as MD, DO, RN, NP, or MPH, and experience working directly with patients or health systems.
  • Have developed or led population health programs or value-based care models in a health plan, provider group, or accountable care organization.
  • Understand how health plan structures impact member behavior and provider incentives.
  • Translate clinical insights into business recommendations and business considerations into clinical implications.
  • Have experience working with claims data and deriving data-driven strategies and action plans.
  • Have worked in or closely with early-stage companies, or be interested in doing so.
  • Work effectively across product, actuarial, and operations functions.
Responsibilities
  • Design the clinical foundation of Arlo’s health plans to make care more affordable, accessible, and high-quality for members nationwide.
  • Shape health plan structures that encourage preventive care, reduce wasteful spending, and promote high-value care.
  • Identify key needs across member populations and develop scalable, data-driven programs to improve outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.
  • Guide concierge and care support services in proactively engaging members, especially those with complex or rising-risk conditions.
  • Use claims history to identify member support needs, including diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions, and oncology, and design targeted clinical programs.
  • Determine whether to build clinical programs in-house or partner with specialized vendors.
  • Explore integrated care delivery models that give Arlo a more direct role in members’ primary care experience.
  • Build relationships with value-based providers, specialist networks, and health systems.
  • Craft incentive structures that align economic outcomes with quality improvement.
  • Serve as the clinical expert in product, claims, and underwriting discussions.
  • Lead partner meetings and turn clinical and business ideas into operational initiatives.
