Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 24 months of hospital pharmacy experience, or equivalent as determined by pharmacy leadership, is required; this exceeds the minimum requirements of Level I.
  • An Oklahoma permit is required within 90 days of hire.
  • PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required within 90 days of hire; failure to obtain it is subject to termination.
  • All Level I and II competencies are required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medications.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support.
  • Stock and deliver medications and work with automated medication equipment.
  • Perform patient care functions.
  • Perform sterile compounding.
