About the Job

Requirements

  • Have a Bac+5 education and solid initial experience in data engineering.
  • Have knowledge of one or more distributed computing frameworks such as Spark, Storm, or Flink.
  • Have knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Have knowledge of SQL or NoSQL data storage systems and the SQL language; familiarity with Snowflake is welcomed.
  • Have experience with a data streaming framework such as Kafka or Amazon Kinesis.
  • Have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Be able to deliver quality code in agile production environments.
  • Be comfortable using English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new data pipelines for client data platforms, including data ingestion, processing, and exposure.
  • Work with business teams and data scientists to support industrializing their work, including testing, continuous integration, model scalability, and craftsmanship.
  • Deploy cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Participate in internal and external data community events, including webinars, meetups, conferences, and partner workshops.
  • Share knowledge from client assignments and community events through blog articles, experience reports, and internal presentations.
