Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service by explaining policy coverage and claim status and assisting policyholders or interested third parties with claim payments and other policy information.
  • Handle heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties.
  • Process policyholder requests received through correspondence, phone calls, and email.
  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information.
  • Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Some college is preferred.
  • At least one year of office experience is preferred.
  • Telecommunications experience is a plus.
  • A background in life and health insurance and knowledge of insurance operations are desired.
