  • Be meticulous about data quality and comfortable owning daily and weekly data collection throughput targets.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to keep participants calm, focused, and engaged throughout experimental sessions.
  • Be experienced logging, tracking, and reporting technical events, including hardware faults and environmental interference, that affect data integrity.
  • Be able to troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks independently and implement corrective actions quickly, even under time pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Set up participants and configure experiments.
  • Monitor live signal quality.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Hand off clean sessions and clear communication to the team.
  • Work hands-on with hardware and experimental workflows while supporting high-throughput neural data collection.
Desired Qualifications
  • A neurodiagnostic or sleep technology credential such as R. EEG T., CNIM, or RPSGT.
  • Clinical electroencephalography or polysomnography experience.
  • Familiarity with electrode placement, impedance management, line noise, movement and sweat artifact, and bridging.
  • A track record of working evenings, nights, or weekends reliably.

About the company

Alljoined builds and provides a complete Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) stack that decodes neural signals into meaningful representations like images, text, sound, and video using deep learning. Its products operate by collecting neural data through a BCI, processing and decoding it with in-house models, and producing user-ready outputs across multiple modalities. The company differentiates itself by offering an affordable, high-quality interface and an end-to-end stack, backed by researchers from top institutions, and by licensing the technology to device manufacturers and application developers while pursuing clinical partnerships. Its goal is to democratize neural decoding and enable interaction with devices at the speed of thought for healthcare diagnostics, creative industries, and other human–technology applications.

What believers are saying

  • Alljoined released NOVA and ENIGMA in 2026, showing rapid product cadence.
  • The company claims state-of-the-art image reconstruction and minute-level adaptation for new users.
  • Hiring is active in August 2026, signaling ongoing buildout despite tiny headcount.

What critics are saying

  • Alljoined has only 20 participants in Alljoined-1.6M, limiting generalization by 2027.
  • Consumer EEG needs over 20x more data than lab-grade systems for equal accuracy.
  • Open, non-invasive decoding invites fast copying from Synchron, university labs, and open-source groups.

What makes Alljoined unique

  • Alljoined builds non-invasive EEG decoding, avoiding implant risk and clinical hardware dependence.
  • Its consumer-grade Alljoined-1.6M dataset and ENIGMA model create a rare full-stack moat.
  • Backers include ARTIS, Conviction, Compound, Khosla, and individual executives like Jeff Dean.
