Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • MDA awarded i3 a $429 million IDIQ on June 10, 2025, through 2035.
  • Navy interactive courseware IDIQ runs through March 2029, supporting recurring training backlog.
  • The 2026 exempt offering seeks $15 million, signaling hiring, tooling, or acquisition flexibility.

What critics are saying

  • Army hypersonic flight-test work ends March 2026, creating near-term revenue replacement pressure.
  • A single-bid Army award and DoD dependence leave pricing exposed to recompetes.
  • If MDA or Navy ordering slows, i3 loses scale and existential contract concentration emerges.

What makes Integration Innovation (i3) unique

  • i3 pairs Huntsville engineering depth with long-cycle DoD mission work and clearances.
  • Employee ownership since October 2021 reinforces retention across classified defense programs.
  • Prime and subcontract roles span missile defense, aviation training, C5ISR, and cybersecurity.
