Responsibilities
Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing local area network, wide area network, Internet, and related network systems.
Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
Perform network operations, maintenance, administration, and network management services for NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
Provide extended-hours on-call support for critical network infrastructure 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
Respond within 30 minutes and begin restoration actions within two hours of a reported failure; notify the on-site COR if service is not restored within two hours.
Maintain network infrastructure availability at 99.7%.

Establish connections and firewalls, and submit firewall exemption rules and other connection documents to the Ports, Protocols and Services Management office.
Secure networks by developing and implementing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation systems, and maintaining documentation.
Conduct fault isolation and repair hardware and components.
Load, configure, and install operating systems and firmware.
Install new systems and network infrastructure equipment, remove old systems, and relocate equipment as required by the COR.
Maintain designated equipment in good working condition, stay current on Air Force, Space Force, and Department of Defense network security requirements, and implement those controls.
Establish and maintain NIPR and SIPR Remedy accounts with the Change Management Role.
Evaluate network equipment and capabilities and recommend infrastructure upgrades or changes to the Government.
Analyze the impact of additional hardware and users on bandwidth utilization and overall network performance before installing upgrades.
Perform NIPR and SIPR network cable maintenance, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, fiber repair or replacement, and cable management.
Install and configure cable components including power, grounding, HVAC, racks, fiber optic distribution panels, equipment, and internal cabling.
Maintain and configure the automated Bogen TPU250 public address system.

The 19th Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission is to execute frontline defense of the space domain for the Joint Force, multinational partners, and humanity.
