About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of design experience.
  • At least 4 years in a creative leadership role, with direct responsibility for setting and enforcing creative standards across a team.
  • Proficiency with standard design and creative review tools sufficient to evaluate assets, annotate feedback, and participate in production workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce precise, consistent, usable policy-grade documentation for teams with varying levels of creative seniority.
  • Experience operating within a high-volume creative review function such as quality control, editorial oversight, content review, or creative operations, where asset evaluation is structured, documented, and held to a repeatable standard.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative vision and quality standards for AI-assisted promotional content, including ethical guardrails for AI use in production.
  • Define standards for craft, cultural resonance, and emotional authenticity, and ensure output meets them across every market.
  • Design and lead hybrid human-plus-AI workflows pairing AI throughput with human creative and cultural refinement while maintaining quality.
  • Lead the operational ramp-up of the promotional content pipeline by establishing production capacity, staffing and training the creative team, and scaling throughput to meet volume commitments across markets.
  • Partner with science, product, and engineering teams to translate creative judgment into structured signals that improve models over time and capture craft in reusable feedback.
  • Drive global expansion of AI-assisted promotional content, ensuring output is culturally and linguistically resonant in each market.
  • Build and mentor a distributed creative team, establishing direction and standards that scale across languages and regions.
  • Champion AI use in creative contexts, applying a human-centered approach in which AI augments rather than replaces human creativity.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with AI or automated creative systems in a creative, product, or quality capacity, with a working understanding of how model behavior is shaped by training data and feedback signals.
  • Experience in streaming, entertainment, or media, with fluency in the visual language of film and television across genres, tonal registers, and audience segments.
  • Background in thumbnail, packaging, or key art, including direct experience evaluating or producing the visual assets governed by this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build evaluation frameworks from first principles, including rubrics, calibration tools, or scoring systems that remain effective under high volume and reviewer variation.
  • Experience managing and calibrating distributed review teams to maintain consistency across reviewers working across time zones, seniority levels, or content categories.
  • Familiarity with the intersection of brand standards and AI output, ensuring automated creative systems produce work consistent with established brand identity.
  • Experience presenting creative quality data to senior leadership and translating operational and creative metrics into narratives that inform strategic decisions.

About the Company

Amazon

Sells products online and rents cloud computing

Amazon runs the largest online store in the United States and rents cloud computing to businesses and governments through Amazon Web Services. AWS pioneered renting computing power over the internet, and Amazon built its own delivery network to get orders to customers quickly. Shoppers buy from Amazon and from independent sellers on its store, and Prime members pay a subscription for fast free shipping, streaming video and music, and other perks. AWS rents out computing power, storage, databases, and AI tools so companies can run software without owning servers, and Amazon also makes Kindle e-readers and Echo speakers with the Alexa assistant. Jeff Bezos founded Amazon in 1994, and it is based in Seattle, Washington.
