About the company

Linah Group operates agricultural, food manufacturing, retail and hospitality businesses in Egypt. Its Linah Farms business grows Medjool and Barhi dates and other crops, then sorts, packs and exports produce for commercial buyers while selling packaged foods directly to consumers. The group also includes Cookievore, a bakery business, and NoorNation, which develops renewable energy and water systems. Its hospitality operations include Sultan Gardens Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, and a group technology function coordinates systems across the operating businesses. The farming operation traces its roots to a desert reclamation project begun in 1997 in the Bahariya Oasis.

What believers are saying

  • Living support accompanies farm administration: Linah's full-time Bahariya Oasis Administration Team Leader receives accommodation and three daily meals.
  • Irrigation investment expands: NoorNation's August 2026 announcement details five planned Linah Farms solar stations across Bahariya Oasis and West Minya.
  • Employees shape workplace changes: Linah Farms' From Roots to Results strategy uses engagement surveys and employee-led committees.

What critics are saying

  • Critical outages extend hours: Linah's Dokki IT Specialist position includes full-time work plus after-hours and weekend critical-system support.
  • Limited field authority: the full-time Linah Customer Support Engineer in Baharia Oasis cannot direct farm labor or regional operations.
  • Desert farming depends on groundwater: Linah Farms' Bahariya palms rely on underground aquifers.

What makes Linah Group unique

  • Seedling quality starts upstream: Linah Farms partners with tissue-culture specialist Al Wathba Marionnet for Medjool seedlings.
  • NoorNation combines electricity and water: its Egyptian-made LifeBox is a mobile solar-powered unit for farms and rural communities.
  • Farm advice reaches external properties: Linah's technical hub supports owned, managed and consulting-only farms.
