Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic framework for weekly marketing activation logic across Americas fulfillment sites, including application need and paid application need assessments.
  • Define the override governance model, ensuring decisions are logged and structured to accelerate automation development.
  • Set the standard for how risk is identified, escalated, and resolved across the portfolio.
  • Own annual integrated campaign plans for the Americas, including building and testing during low-volume periods and maintaining readiness for high-volume hiring events.
  • Lead working-backwards planning from hiring projections, site capacity, and historical performance data.
  • Consult senior leadership on quarterly strategy, budget allocation, and major campaign pivots.
  • Translate rolling 12-week labor order visibility into dynamic marketing adjustments, flagging risks and mitigation plans early.
  • Drive campaign management across the Americas in collaboration with Creative, Performance Marketing, Journey Orchestration, Talent Engagement, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate quarterly planning cycles and manage stakeholder expectations across business partners, country leads, and global teams.
  • Bridge the gap between marketing capabilities and operational hiring realities.
  • Lead integrated campaign reviews with senior leadership and present data-backed recommendations.
  • Define the strategy for channel mix, spend efficiency, fill rate improvement, and labor order projection accuracy across the Americas portfolio.
  • Partner with analytics teams to develop comprehensive campaign performance frameworks.
  • Identify systemic opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and hold partner teams accountable for execution.
  • Own pacing management, ensuring ramp-down and pause decisions are executed precisely and insights are fed back into program management.
  • Own the governance framework for spend decisions and escalation thresholds.
  • Identify, develop, and drive adoption of mechanisms that improve activation efficiency, reduce manual override volume, and accelerate automated decisioning.
  • Own the automation of campaign planning processes from discovery through recommendation to implementation.
  • Eliminate redundant workflows and hold partner teams accountable for process improvements across both functions.
  • Own the weekly WBR deep dive for senior leadership, translating activation performance, campaign results, and fill risk into clear strategic narratives.
  • Maintain alignment with business managers, global risk teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Influence investment priorities and partner team roadmaps through data-driven business cases.
  • Review overnight performance data to identify anomalies, escalation triggers, and optimization opportunities.
  • Finalize weekly activation logic and make strategic override decisions while ensuring the log supports automation development.
  • Influence channel investment decisions using weekly business review data.
  • Develop quarterly testing plans and mitigation strategies for upcoming high-volume events.
  • Review onboarding plans for new internal clients entering the activation process.
  • Finalize the weekly business review narrative for senior leadership and connect campaign performance to hiring outcomes.

Amazon locks 350M Alexa shoppers in walled garden as Shopify opens checkout to every AI agent

Elizabeth Warren demands answers as Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft claim $96B in AI tax breaks

Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding answers from Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft over $96 billion in lost federal revenue from AI-related tax breaks. Despite reporting massive revenues in Q2 2026, the tech giants saw significant tax reductions last year. Amazon paid $7.8 billion less in tax, Meta nearly $7 billion less, whilst Microsoft and Alphabet each qualified for roughly $19 billion in tax cuts. Corporate tax revenues have dropped 23% this year, largely due to these AI tax breaks. Warren and fellow lawmakers have sent letters to the companies' CEOs questioning the tax breaks and their lobbying efforts, arguing the costs have been imposed on American families through cuts to Social Security and other programmes.

Amazon eyes Dallas Galleria tower with $57M renovation

A 16-storey office tower in Dallas' Galleria area is undergoing a $57 million renovation, with records suggesting Amazon may be the incoming tenant. The project at 13737 Noel Road, known as Galleria North Tower I, involves a two-phase interior renovation covering 223,000 square feet. Construction is expected to begin in January and last through mid-August 2027. The filing lists "DFW 22" as the tenant, a naming convention consistent with Amazon's other facilities, and includes contact details for an Amazon construction manager. WS Development purchased the building for roughly $63.4 million in June 2025. Amazon already maintains a presence nearby at Two Galleria Tower, where it renewed its five-year lease in 2024.

Amazon takes $50M stake in Taiwanese AI server supplier Gold Circuit Electronics

Amazon is acquiring a NT$1.59 billion (approximately $49 million) stake in Gold Circuit Electronics, a Taiwanese manufacturer of printed circuit boards for AI servers and network switches. The investment will give Amazon roughly 13% ownership in GCE. The deal marks Amazon's strategic move to secure supply chain capacity for its AI infrastructure needs. GCE specialises in high-layer-count PCBs used in advanced computing systems, which have become increasingly critical as demand for AI hardware accelerates. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, subject to regulatory approval. GCE supplies multiple technology companies but will now have Amazon as a significant shareholder, potentially securing priority access to production capacity during periods of high demand.
