ProSidian Consulting has an opportunity for a [IT-ARFP2013 : Web / IT Generalist] located in Charlotte, NC | POSTING TYPE: This Is A Full-time (W2) Position.

ProSidian Consulting is seeking a Web / IT Generalist with experience in the administration and management of websites and the corporate IT environment.  As an experienced Web / IT Generalist with ProSidian Consulting, you will be in an invigorating and challenging environment with high standards for work quality, professionalism, and teamwork.

Positions in this function are involved in the definition, management, and implementation of Web and IT Technology focused projects based on both internal and client based solutions.  Positions are business specialists and technology generalists that can also manage, direct and interface with business clients. Align technology solutions with business strategies, working primarily with senior management.

Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.  Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.  Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support.  Installs, services, and repairs personal computers and installs attendant software.

Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.  Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks. Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases. Performs basic PC and network software programming.  Proactively identify opportunities, conduct analyses, needs assessments, cost/benefit assessments.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to lead in a team environment.  He/she must be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization, be results oriented, have strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and a creative problem solver.

The following education and experience is required to accomplish project tasks:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 3 + More Years’ Experience
• Experience with graphical design
• Experience with design of marketing materials
• Experience and understanding of website and corporate IT environments
• Experience in website design, security, support and maintenance
• Experience with training end-users of software.
• Experience in maintaining and creating reports
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written
• Ability to deliver customer service to users with various levels of computer knowledge
• Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.
• Ability to support and troubleshoot network connectivity issues and stand-alone peripherals (printers, scanners)

Required Skills

• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Integrity and Reliability - Adaptability to learn a variety of software programs
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technology ideas to non-technical audiences
• Ability to document using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken for presentations
• The ability to multitask and self-manage your work day is crucial
• Ability to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
