Nonprofit school-age childcare via school partnerships
Just for Kids provides school-age childcare inside public and private schools in the Buffalo region, offering before- and after-school care, break camps, and summer camps for over 1,500 students each year. As a nonprofit, it funds operations through program fees, Department of Social Services payments, and grants like the 21st Century Community Learning Center that can cover some programs at no cost to families. It differentiates itself with strong school partnerships across multiple districts, a long history since 1994, and awards for quality leadership. The organization's goal is to deliver safe, engaging, and affordable programs that support families and promote positive youth development in school-based settings.
