  • New York State Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician certification is required.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • One year of 911 ambulance experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to 911 ambulance calls via Fire Department of the City of New York Emergency Medical Services dispatch for the Richmond University Medical Center ambulance.
  • Render primary Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support care and transport patients to the appropriate Emergency Department.
  • Present the patient’s complete Ambulance Call Report and transfer care at the Emergency Department.
