Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in either quality, engineering, supply chain management or manufacturing processes
  • Must be able to travel as needed to support regional activities
  • 5+ years' experience with at least 2 years in a supplier quality role
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Work with Engineering to develop standards that will be used across the different business units, so hardware is developed to the same standards and quality.
  • Work directly with the various Contract manufactures to address problems and develop standards to be utilized.
  • Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
  • Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues.
  • Support Purchasing and Contract Manufactures to coordinate with engineering on supply chain issues and part replacements.
  • Help manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of both supplier quality issues and Quality issues from Contract Manufactures.
  • Assist with on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of Contract Manufacture quality issues.
  • Administers and oversee all ISO 9001:2015 quality system requirements related to all sites as required.
  • Work with engineering to validate the Electronic department processes and resources are being followed during development.
  • Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures as required by Quality / ISO commitments.
  • Review product specifications necessary to establish quality and reliability objectives for the Electronics department.
  • Be part of all first article inspections of product being received from Contract Manufactures.
  • Mine and investigate issue data gathered by tech & customer service to identify trends or incipient field issues and call for action to prevent minor issues from growing into larger problems.
  • Work across the 4 NA business units.
  • All other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Six Sigma/Lean skills.
  • Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Significant experience in manufacturing auditing
  • Good analytical and trouble shooting skills
  • Good reasoning methods and a methodical approach to testing and problem solving
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced multi-tasking environment
  • Application experience with testing electronic products/systems for Internal Combustion Engines, Heavy Duty Custom Trucks, and industrial pumps is a plus
  • Experience with automated systems testing is a plus
  • Ability to work well with variety of people and cultures in a small local engineering group interfacing with remote sites and the larger global environment
  • Ability to work with a limited amount of supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

IDEX stock rises 18.6% on FMT, HST strength despite FSDP segment weakness

IDEX Corporation is benefitting from strong performance in its Fluid & Metering Technologies and Health & Science Technologies segments, driven by increased demand in municipal water, industrial applications and life sciences markets. The company continues expanding through acquisitions, including Micro-LAM in July 2025 and Mott Corp. in September 2024 for $1 billion, enhancing its capabilities in semiconductor, medical technologies and water purification markets. Acquisitions contributed 1% to fourth-quarter 2025 sales. IDEX remains committed to shareholder returns, paying $212.6 million in dividends in 2025 and raising its quarterly dividend to 71 cents per share. The company holds $926.7 million in remaining share repurchase authorisation. However, weakness in the Fire & Safety/Diversified Products segment and foreign currency headwinds pose challenges. Idex Q4 earnings beat expectations at $2.10 per share on $899M revenue

Idex Corp reported fourth-quarter earnings of $2.10 per share, exceeding Wall Street expectations of $2.04 per share. The Northbrook, Illinois-based maker of the Jaws of Life device and other engineered products posted revenue of $899.1 million, beating analyst forecasts of $881.6 million. For the full year, Idex reported profit of $483.2 million, or $6.41 per share, on revenue of $3.46 billion. The company projects first-quarter earnings between $1.73 and $1.78 per share, with full-year earnings expected to range from $8.15 to $8.35 per share.
