Requirements
- A valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence is required.
- The legal right to work in Canada is required; the position is not available for sponsorship.
- The candidate must hold, have held, or be eligible to hold Aircraft Certification Authority on one or more listed aircraft types, including AS350B2, AS350B3, AS355N, B206, B212, B412, or S61.
- The candidate must be organized and self-directed.
- The candidate must demonstrate customer focus, communication skills, a positive attitude, and teamwork.
- The candidate must be able to accept away-from-base assignments at the customer's request.
- The candidate must be able to navigate and work efficiently within a Windows environment.
- The candidate may be required to obtain Access to Controlled Goods clearance under company approval.
- For the Southport location, the candidate may be required to complete a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation-acceptable training organization or within the Department of National Defence.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform aircraft maintenance.
- Ensure that replacement parts are inspected and properly certified before installation.
- Organize and maintain the hangar facility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Travel to various work locations and environments as required.
- Perform related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
- Aircraft Certification Authority on other Canadian Helicopters Limited aircraft types is a definite asset.
- A Canadian military aircraft maintenance qualification may be considered for the Southport location.
