Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform compliance and wine tracking activities associated with production operations at Woodbridge Winery. The Wine Tracking Assistant provides guidance and support to cross functional departments (enology, bottling/cellar operations, finance, etc.) to ensure the winery is operating within mandated compliance regulations. This position provides tracking and financial duties that include inventory management and timely government reporting.
Responsibilities
Day to Day
Track and maintain real-time status of wine movements/inventory
Ensure integrity of data within reporting databases (Vintrace, AS400, SAP, departmental spreadsheets)
Maintain records, wine transactions, wine analysis, and compositions
Maintain bottling/barrel operations in wine systems
Prepare work orders/documents for various wine activities (pumping, movements, etc.)
Daily work order processing to ensure real time checks and balances for wine production and/or wine movements
Inventory processing: Responsible for tank inventory reconciliation, responsible for fiscal year-end inventory and reconciliation of both tanks and barrels
Provides and assists the winemaking, and operation departments in the collection and analysis of information needed to support Mission Bell optimization and continuous improvements efforts.
Training/Continuous Improvement
Participates as a functional team and customer groups with the focus on process improvements, driving efficiency, and streamlining workflow
Support larger winery initiatives such as development of systems and procedures to ensure the data integrity of all supported recordkeeping systems. This includes both automated and manual systems
Train end users on new and existing tools/reports
Works collaboratively with cross functional groups to optimize cellar activities and seeks opportunities to continually improve processes and workflow with larger winery initiatives in mind.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint
Good verbal and written communications skills
Detail-oriented
Good organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Strong math skills
Excellent time and resource management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in writing reports, presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, suppliers and internal customers
Skilled with systems such as Vintrace, AS400, SAP
Knowledge of TTB, CDTFA, and Title V - Air Board regulations
Experience solving practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The salary range for this role is:
$23.21 - $32.72
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
