Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Monitor throughput across multiple teams to determine capacity and oversee partnerships with stakeholders to define user requirements for complex projects.
  • Guide requirements gathering, incorporate feedback, define actionable metrics to assess delivery feasibility, and review gaps in acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee translation of user requirements into system designs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and formalizing best practices.
  • Lead system architecture discussions, interpret findings from investigations, and own design decisions for complex products.
  • Oversee project plans, release plans, and estimation processes, address escalated issues, and remove technical obstacles.
  • Develop standards for code quality, security, and maintainability, and update security assessment processes to ensure code is free from threats.
  • Shape best practices for debugging, automation, and code review across multiple products and teams.
  • Provide guidance on test planning, prioritize tests, and ensure expected testing results across product features.
  • Lead system monitoring efforts, set data analysis standards, and align project strategy for long-term value.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve major incidents, ensure teams have resources to respond to incidents, and share learnings to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage team decisions around developer tools, oversee selection and enhancement of tools, and share best practices for complex products.
  • Identify and develop engineering talent, ensure team skills support business goals, and disseminate knowledge to improve product reliability and performance.
  • Lead software development teams in delivering secure, scalable, high-quality fintech applications and platforms.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle from backlog refinement through build, test, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Drive disciplined agile and DevSecOps practices, automated testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure development work integrates responsibly with Generative AI and Agentic AI coding while adhering to data governance, model explainability, and financial regulatory compliance standards.
  • Coach and develop engineers to adapt to evolving tools, frameworks, and AI-driven workflows.
  • Partner with product managers, quality assurance, risk, compliance, and security functions to deliver safe, transparent, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, and technical prototyping for up to 50–65% of the time as needed to guide best practices and maintain technical credibility.
