About the company

CrowdStrike builds cybersecurity software for organizations that need to protect computers, cloud workloads, identities and data from digital attacks. Its Falcon platform combines these defenses in one cloud system, using a lightweight sensor on devices to collect activity and detect suspicious behavior. Security teams investigate alerts and automate responses through a shared console, while the platform connects information from different parts of a business to reveal attacks that isolated tools miss. Customers pay subscription fees based on the products and assets covered, and CrowdStrike also charges for incident response services. CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 and is based in Austin, Texas.

QIZ launches cryptography posture management platform on CrowdStrike Marketplace

QIZ Security's Cryptography Posture Management platform is now available for purchase on the CrowdStrike Marketplace, the company announced on October 19, 2026. The platform shows organisations where their cryptography is weak or non-compliant, helping teams prioritise fixes and prepare for post-quantum cryptography (PQC). It flags vulnerable TLS and SSH configurations, expiring certificates, and quantum-vulnerable algorithms without needing another endpoint agent. QIZ links these findings to host, application, and infrastructure context to identify root causes and owners. "Availability through the CrowdStrike Marketplace makes it easier for customers to adopt these capabilities through an ecosystem they already trust," said Ben Volkow, chief executive officer and co-founder of QIZ Security.

AI hacking attacks jump 89% as cybersecurity stocks split into platforms and point solutions

AI-powered hacking attacks jumped 89% last year, according to CrowdStrike's own threat report. The finding is pushing buyers to choose between one connected security platform and a pile of separate tools. CrowdStrike's Falcon Flex bundling programme has grown its contracted value past $2 billion, more than doubling in a year. Palo Alto Networks added about 220 "platformization" deals in a recent quarter, more than twice the pace of two years earlier. Fortinet is using its lead in network firewalls to cross-sell. SentinelOne, Cloudflare, and Zscaler make thinner platform cases. Okta remains a point solution focused on verifying logins. CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks are both down more than 13% from their October 6 record highs, amid reports that OpenAI may buy a cybersecurity startup.

CrowdStrike stock nearly doubled in a year as AI pitch met faster growth

CrowdStrike (CRWD) shares nearly doubled in a year. A $10,000 stake bought on October 13, 2025 was worth about $19,600 on October 14, 2026, while the S&P 500 returned 17.3%. The company pitched itself as the platform for securing AI while its sales growth slowed to 19.8% in the quarter ended April 2025. Growth then picked up, reaching 21.3% in the quarter ended July 2025 and 25.8% in the quarter ended July 2026. The share price rose faster than the business. Investors paid 50.0 times revenue at the end of September 2026, against 28.2 times a year earlier. Rivals did well too: Fortinet returned 118.6% and Palo Alto Networks 75.8%. The next report, expected around November 30, 2026, will show whether growth is still building.

Why AI and browser security should be on every MSP's radar.

Why AI and browser security should be on every MSP's radar. October 15, 2026 The surging use of AI tools and agents is bringing greater risk to the web browser, prompting industry giants and startups to make a major push in browser security this year, as first reported by CRN. Organizations are facing intensifying threats involving plug-ins and malicious code executing within browsers, with AI and agents exacerbating these risks. In response, major vendors like CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and Palo Alto Networks have made significant acquisitions and product updates. CrowdStrike acquired Seraphic to expand its browser protection, while Zscaler acquired SquareX and enhanced its Zero Trust Browser offering. Palo Alto Networks launched Prisma Browser for Business targeting SMBs. Other key players like Atakama, Cyera, Google, Island, Menlo Security, Microsoft, and Netskope have also unveiled updates. These include enhanced data loss prevention, real-time visibility into AI usage, prompt-level alerting, and agent security to prevent malicious instructions. The browser is increasingly seen as the new endpoint, necessitating robust security measures to protect against evolving threats. An in-depth guide to cloud security.
