Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience running commercial electrical construction projects from ground-up construction through completion.
  • Recent experience as an Electrical Superintendent on large-scale commercial electrical construction projects.
  • Ground-up data center experience.
  • A Journeyman Electrician license.
  • 30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code, local building codes, industry standards, and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of operating jobsite tools and equipment, including wire tuggers, conduit benders, lifts, knockout sets, backhoes, trenchers, mini-excavators, and generators.
  • Ability to complete projects at or below the labor budget and manage projects within established budgets, schedules, contract scopes, and specifications.
  • Ability to work the hours required to maintain project schedules, including long hours or weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to analyze information and problems logically to develop and implement solutions.
  • Ability to work with tools as needed.
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with management, support staff, field personnel, trade contractors, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the safe installation of electrical systems through power distribution, rough-in, trim, finish work, and final punch phases.
  • Install, alter, and repair electrical systems and equipment for large-scale commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.
  • Review project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, instructional manuals, specifications, blueprints, and schedules, and coordinate field installations according to the scope of work and project schedule.
  • Lay out project work and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to meet the construction schedule.
  • Complete material requests, timesheets, safety reports, and incident reports.
  • Manage electrical materials, tools, and equipment assigned to the jobsite.
Desired Qualifications
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • AHCA experience.
