Goldbelt Professional Services specializes in providing expert resources for Public Health missions including scientific, technical, and administrative support from junior staff to high-level subject matter experts. Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst II to provide extramural management and analysis support for the Office of the Director (OD).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Grants & Cooperative Agreements Management: Coordinate the full lifecycle of grants and cooperative agreement functions, including pre-award planning, evaluating funding opportunity announcements and applications, participating in review panels, conducting budget discussions, preparing award documents, and processing amendments/modifications in Grant Solutions.
- Contracts & Procurement Support: Maintain ICE procurement tracking spreadsheets and CCPS submissions; serve as requisitioner and provide end-to-end contract award support, including solicitations and technical evaluation panels.
- Program Planning, Budgeting & Financial Analysis: Perform strategic planning and financial analysis, including budgets, carryover requests, contract modifications, and technical reviews.
- Data Management, Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records; monitor program operations for compliance; prepare correspondence, reports, and analytical summaries, including annual grantee report analysis.
- Systems, Collaboration & Program Development: Collaborate with SharePoint developers on a custom portal for cooperative agreements, contracts, data, publications, and budgets.
- Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and work professionally and collegially with a highly educated, scientific customer base that is under pressure and in the public eye every day.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently, be solution-oriented, motivated, and committed to customer and company success.
- Ability to handle a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment while balancing multiple competing priorities.
- Expertise in project management tools and software, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this part-time position is $50.49 to $55.29 per hour.
