Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in the Total Rewards space (in-house compensation or consulting), with experience in execution and delivery
  • Analytical skills, including high levels of proficiency with excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Google Sheets with the ability to analyse data and build models
  • Experience growing relationships with global partners across all levels, including executives and senior leaders
  • The ability to develop concise materials, executive-level presentations, and experience delivering presentations to large audiences
  • Experience in at least one of the following compensation fields: salary design, sales compensation, global compensation, equity compensation, executive pay
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Reward team colleagues and HR partners to develop impactful and strategic compensation and benefits programmes
  • Develop regular compensation and benefits reports to forecast spend and inform budgets globally
  • Analyse compensation and benefits-related data, interpret results and make appropriate recommendations based on results and our needs
  • Perform regular market benchmarking to evaluate Deliveroo's market positioning and provide input into compensation band structures, benefit and policy proposals, and other pay guidelines
  • Support the UK annual benefits enrolment program, including project planning, employee communications, including face to face presentations, and testing
  • Manage complex or high priority employee benefit queries
  • Develop compelling communications on Deliveroo's compensation and benefits approach, programs and philosophy for HR partners, recruitment and the business
  • Support the bi-annual compensation and performance management programmes, including budgets and modelling, developing tool requirements, communications and training
  • Work with global HR partners to ensure compensation programmes are suitably localised and impactful in all our global locations

Deliveroo connects customers with a variety of restaurants through its online food delivery service. Customers can place orders via the Deliveroo website or mobile app, which are sent to partner restaurants. Once the food is ready, Deliveroo's network of delivery riders brings it directly to the customer's home. This system allows restaurants to expand their reach without handling their own delivery logistics. Deliveroo earns money by charging restaurants a commission on orders and customers a delivery fee. They also offer a subscription service, Deliveroo Plus, which gives customers unlimited free delivery for a monthly fee, encouraging loyalty and providing consistent revenue. Additionally, Deliveroo engages in community initiatives, such as providing free meals to NHS workers during the pandemic, which helps improve their public image and strengthen community relationships.
