What believers are saying

  • ARX raised €42 million by October 2025, funding expansion into 2026.
  • ARX will open Munich production later 2026, lifting German capacity fivefold.
  • UK headquarters and £45 million south-west England investment extend ARX’s market beyond Germany.

What critics are saying

  • Ukraine-centric demand ties ARX to wartime procurement; any 2026 slowdown crushes volumes.
  • Munich and Ulm ramps strain execution; factory delays postpone deliveries and revenue recognition.
  • Rheinmetall, Milrem, and larger primes can outspend ARX, squeezing contracts and talent.

What makes ARX Robotics unique

  • Mithra OS retrofits legacy vehicles into autonomous units, cutting modernization costs for militaries.
  • ARX Industries, launched June 25, 2026, industrializes battlefield-tested Rys Pro UGVs.
  • DEUTZ and ARX began GEREON series production July 7, 2026, validating manufacturing depth.

German-Ukrainian JV ARX Industries to mass-produce battle-tested Rys Pro unmanned ground vehicles for Ukraine

German company ARX Robotics and Ukraine's Roboneers have formed ARX Industries, a joint venture to mass-produce unmanned ground vehicles. The partnership will manufacture the battle-tested Rys Pro UGV across facilities in Germany and Ukraine, supporting Ukraine's target of supplying 50,000 UGVs to its military in 2026. ARX Industries aims to produce thousands of Rys Pro units in its first year, scaling to tens of thousands annually. The vehicles will handle casualty evacuation, frontline logistics, mining operations and combat roles. The joint venture integrates frontline feedback directly into production cycles. Supported by Ukrainian and German governments under the Build with Ukraine initiative, the partnership strengthens European defence manufacturing capacity whilst delivering critical equipment to Ukrainian forces.
