About the job

Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technology implementations on time and on scope in client-facing roles.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously, including technical teams, commercial contacts, and operational users.
  • Strong technical literacy to understand infrastructure and software deployments, even without being an engineer.
  • Strong discipline around project governance, task management, status reporting, and delivery tooling.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-moving environments with multiple active projects and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-through.
  • Comfort working remotely with a distributed team, including regular communication across US/UK time zones.
  • Willingness to travel to airport sites across the US as required.
Responsibilities
  • Translate signed contracts and customer requirements into a structured, sequenced delivery plan.
  • Define milestones, surface the critical path, and manage dependencies across hardware procurement, software configuration, airline onboarding, and go-live.
  • Proactively identify blockers, escalate where needed, and resolve issues before they affect timelines.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery in AeroCloud’s project delivery platform, ensuring tasks, milestones, approvals, and status accurately reflect reality.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for each airport throughout implementation.
  • Set clear expectations, communicate risks and delays early, and manage scope changes while maintaining client relationships.
  • Build confidence with airport operations, IT, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Support commercial discussions related to delivery change orders, timeline negotiations, and acceptance criteria.
  • Keep the AeroCloud delivery team aligned and accountable across engineering, product, hardware logistics, airline onboarding, and support.
  • Run structured standups and progress reviews, follow up when work slips, and distinguish noise from real delivery risks.
  • Ensure documentation and task tracking are complete, current, and useful.
  • Coordinate closely with the UK-based delivery leadership team across time zones.
  • Develop a working understanding of how the AeroCloud platform integrates across cloud services, airport infrastructure, networking, hardware, airline DCS connectivity, and peripheral devices.
  • Engage with airport IT and technical stakeholders on deployment topics including networking, endpoint configuration, Windows imaging, firewall rules, and operational dependencies.
  • Identify technical dependencies and implementation risks early, and escalate issues with sufficient context for engineering teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate project plans, risk registers, change logs, and meeting records throughout delivery.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and signed off ahead of UAT and go-live.
  • Own the transition from implementation to BAU support by briefing the support team, confirming asset registers, and ensuring the client can operate independently.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and feed lessons back into delivery methodology.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in aviation, airport technology, or transport infrastructure.
  • Background in SaaS or managed services delivery.
  • Familiarity with common-use airport systems (CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD) or airline DCS environments.
  • Experience delivering hardware-led programs involving logistics, onsite installation, and commissioning.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent; valued but not required if the candidate’s track record is strong.
  • Experience working with infrastructure, networking, or endpoint management teams.
