Responsibilities
  • Track every major initiative across the franchise, identify stalled work and its causes, and drive resolution.
  • Maintain a living initiative dashboard and ensure consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Connect lending, retail, treasury, financial analytics, and regional leaders when priorities, timelines, or handoffs conflict.
  • Own the Chief Banking Officer's weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operating cadence, including agendas, preparation, participants, and follow-through.
  • Protect the Chief Banking Officer's time by identifying and reducing reactive operational noise.
  • Pull data and insight from across the franchise, filter noise, elevate important signals, and deliver decision-ready packages.
  • Prepare the Chief Banking Officer for Board presentations, executive reviews, and Diamond partnership conversations.
  • Serve as the bridge between community banking and enterprise-level initiative governance.
  • Ensure community banking priorities are represented in enterprise strategic initiatives and surface capacity conflicts early.
  • Attend the Community Bank Business Unit Review Meeting and communicate the Chief Banking Officer's perspective credibly.
  • Prepare the Chief Banking Officer for Board presentations.
  • Track stalled cross-functional initiatives and coordinate resolution.
  • Capture follow-up items during regional performance reviews.
  • Coordinate community bank launch timelines across functional leaders.
  • Synthesize credit and financial data into decision briefs.
  • Identify and escalate emerging issues across the franchise.
  • Represent the Chief Banking Officer when the Chief Banking Officer cannot be present.
  • Recommend methods to improve the department.
  • Complete required annual compliance examinations and adhere to First United policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
