Requirements
- An associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program is required.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is required.
- The ability to follow treatment plans and assist patients in therapy activities is required.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is required.
- The ability to assist patients physically as needed is required.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists to assist in delivering therapy services.
- Assist patients with improving their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are preferred.
