Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • CIRI's February 2026 purchase gives I2X deeper capital and a longer growth runway.
  • Frank Toney's May 5, 2026 appointment signals active leadership refresh and execution focus.
  • The $243 million NRL contract provides visible backlog through 2030 and referenceable defense credibility.

What critics are saying

  • Customer concentration on U.S. government buyers exposes revenue to protest, recompete, and budget delays.
  • Integration under OSC Global after February 2026 risks leadership churn and culture loss.
  • A lost NRL recompete or failed major capture would cripple scale and threaten independence.

What makes ISYS Technologies unique

  • OS C Global owns I2X Technologies after the February 2, 2026 acquisition.
  • I2X holds classified and unclassified mission support expertise across defense, intelligence, and federal civilian work.
  • The March 6, 2025 U.S. Navy NRL IDIQ, worth $243 million, validates niche EW capabilities.

Alaska Native corporation CIRI acquires IT firm I2X Technologies to expand $1B+ portfolio

Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native regional corporation, has acquired I2X Technologies, a provider of IT software, systems engineering and data management solutions to government and private-sector clients. Financial terms were not disclosed. I2X, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Littleton, Colorado, employs nearly 280 staff. The company will operate under OSC Global, CIRI's wholly owned IT and cybersecurity subsidiary formed in 2024. The acquisition expands CIRI's diverse business portfolio, which currently exceeds $1 billion in assets. CIRI, created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act in 1972, has nearly 10,000 shareholders. CEO Swami Iyer said the purchase strengthens the company's portfolio and positions it for long-term growth.
