Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
Other duties as assigned

Clean driving record
Successful completion of a background check
Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
Must hold an active RRT or CRT License

Quipt Home Medical shareholder urges board to pursue sale after rebuffing inbound interest

A shareholder holding 4.9% of Quipt Home Medical is pushing the company to pursue a sale after the board rejected inbound interest. Bradley L. Radoff criticised the board for "poor execution and significant shareholder value destruction" in a statement on Friday. Radoff accused the board of diluting shareholders by awarding insiders approximately 6% of the company after receiving credible acquisition offers earlier this year. In August, shareholder Forager Capital offered to acquire all outstanding shares at $3.10 per share in cash. Radoff threatened to vote against every incumbent director at the 2026 annual meeting if the situation remains unchanged. The dispute highlights growing investor pressure on the medical equipment company's leadership and strategic direction.

CINCINNATI, Aug. 12, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Quipt Home Medical Corp. (“Quipt” or the “Company“) (NASDAQ: QIPT; TSX: QIPT), a U.S. based home medical equipment provider, focused on end-to-end respiratory care, today announced it has signed a definitive agreement with three major health systems and hospitals to form a joint venture. Pursuant to the definitive agreement, Quipt will acquire a 60% ownership interest in Hart Medical Equipment (“Hart“), with the remaining 40% interest collectively held by major health systems, Henry Ford Health, McLaren Health Care, Blanchard Valley Health System, Wood County Hospital and The Bellevue Hospital. This strategic transaction is expected to enhance Quipt’s presence in the Midwest, add deep healthcare system partnerships, and provide the Company with immediate entry into Michigan, a large and strategically important market, and new territories in Ohio.
