Strong to advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities
Evaluate financial products and report on the impact of new business lines and products on Corporate Accounting.
Coordinate with unit managers on variance analysis and summarize it for monthly senior management reporting.
Facilitate integration of new business lines and products into departmental operations, including preparing complex general ledger entries and process flow documentation.
Perform analysis and reporting to support ad hoc management and compliance requests.
Identify opportunities for accounting process efficiencies, including technology solutions.
Support preparation of SEC and regulatory financial reporting packages and statements for the parent and subsidiary.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values.

MS SQL skills are beneficial but not required.

A Typical Day
The Vice President General Accounting is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining financial analytics and reporting to support the Companies’ financial products and determine the impact on Corporate Accounting. As the VP General Accounting, you will also be responsible for accurately performing time-sensitive duties with accountability and flexibility, utilizing strategic/critical thinking and demonstrating appropriate organizational and prioritization skills to accomplish goals and objectives.
The VP General Accounting will:
