Responsibilities
  • Support facility, department, and production line layouts to improve material flow, safety, and efficiency.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, identify and reduce waste, balance production lines, and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Partner directly with production teams to perform Root Cause Analysis to identify issues on the floor and implement practical, hands-on process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Analyze operational data to support decisions related to capacity, throughput, and workflow.
  • Develop business cases for automation opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis and return on investment projections, and manage projects from approval through implementation.
  • Maintain computer-aided design layouts and floor plans in support of manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Bring a strategic lens to continuous improvement by identifying which initiatives across manufacturing and distribution will drive the greatest long-term impact and prioritizing accordingly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, operations, or industrial engineering environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design tools for layouts and floor plans is preferred.
