We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible forthe end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuratetimely payment of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and implementing process improvements for efficiency. The Accounts Payable Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity, compliance, and optimizing the payment cycle. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record in accounts payable management are essential for this role.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage a team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimalperformance
Foster a positive and collaborate work environment, promoting continuous learning and development within the accounts payable team
Monitor and manage cash flow related to accounts payable, optimizing working capital while ensuring timely and accuratepayments
Collaborate with the broader finance team to facilitate a smooth month-end close process, reconciling accounts and addressing any discrepancies
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and legislation
Generate accurate and timely financial reports related to accounts payable, supporting the broader financial reporting requirements of the organization
Maintain strong relationships, resolve issues promptly, and negotiate favorable payment terms to optimize cash flow
Managethe employee expense reimbursement process
Review 1099 vendors for accuracy and completeness at year-end
Implement and streamline efficient accounts payable processes, utilizing best practices to enhance accuracy and productivity
As an accomplished Accounts Payable Manager, you bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. You are a results-driven professional with a proven track record of successfully leading accounts payable teams and optimizing financial processes. Your comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, coupled with a keen eye for detail, ensures the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable function.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager, preferably with 8+ yearsin a leadership role
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience with Sage Intacct and Concur software systems a plus
Experience with P2P implementations a plus
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US Base Salary Range: $74,600 - $120,000 w/10% annual bonus
