Requirements
  • 6+ years of combined hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows or Linux/Unix server engineering; cloud engineering, preferably AWS; configuration of security tooling such as endpoint detection and response, extended detection and response, intrusion detection and prevention systems, security information and event management, privileged access management, cloud security posture management, or data loss prevention; and security architecture, security engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Technical knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, CIDR ranges, proxies, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Ability to work in large global environments spanning multiple time zones.
  • Availability for infrequent international and domestic travel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical professionals.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Third-Party Risk Management team and the business to evaluate new applications and services, assess security controls, and ensure alignment with enterprise security requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security standards that enable secure technology solutions.
  • Review AI platforms and Model Context Protocol systems, providing guidance on security, integration, and governance considerations.
  • Provide security guidance on how security configuration changes affect Security Operations, governance, risk, and compliance requirements, and Security Engineering workflows and tooling.
  • Evaluate proposed application and platform configuration changes from business and Security Engineering teams, analyze their impact on the security posture and architectural standards, and make recommendations.
  • Support cross-functional adoption of security controls for Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service, including reference architectures and guardrails.
  • Deliver security guidance related to creating and deploying network security controls such as firewall access control lists.
  • Assess changes in the external threat landscape using threat intelligence and collaborate with technology teams to guide implementation of appropriate defensive controls.
  • Assist in developing enterprise security standards aligned to industry frameworks such as CIS Critical Security Controls.
  • Partner with the business to ensure security controls are clearly understood and effectively applied across technologies and use cases.
  • Assist with evaluating security tools to ensure they meet business needs, security requirements, and architectural standards.
  • Apply security control frameworks such as CIS Critical Security Controls or NIST SP 800-53 to architecture reviews and standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMware and Docker.
  • Experience developing scripts to automate manual tasks, with Python preferred.
  • Working knowledge of software development standards and software development life cycle concepts.
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or similar.

Live Nation is launching Creator Nation, a new firm focused on managing and supporting creators in the digital economy. Live Nation posts record Q2 with $7.7B revenue amid legal troubles and monopoly ruling

Live Nation reported second quarter revenue of $7.7 billion, up 9% year-over-year, with operating income of $522 million, up 7%. Live Nation Q2 earnings preview: revenue expected to grow 7.8% year on year
