  • Follow company standard operating procedures at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage and improve patient health.
  • Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workstations for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
  • Create personalized patient experiences at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; offer immunizations and other services where appropriate; and solve or escalate patient problems.
  • Offer counseling, field medical questions, and collect patient medical history when appropriate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

  • Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, and mentoring to pharmacy team members while sharing best practices.
  • Perform basic inventory activities as permitted by law and directed by pharmacy leadership, including putting away medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stock, and waiting-bin inventories.
  • Follow applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, ethical principles, and company policies to protect patient safety, controlled-substance compliance, recordkeeping, privacy, and security.
  • Deliver additional patient health services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, and voluntarily staff offsite clinics where allowed by law and supported by required training and certification.
  • Where permissible, complete additional licensure and training requirements under state Board of Pharmacy regulations to obtain Technician Immunizer status and support vaccine preparation and administration.
  • Educate patients about vaccines, answer questions, and obtain informed consent.

  • Review and collect patient information, and track and document information for each applicable patient.

Desired Qualifications
