Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, finance, Business Administration, or ICWA.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in sanctions screening, compliance operations, shared services screening, export control support, or comparable control-based operations.
  • Working understanding of sanctions-screening concepts such as true match, false positive, technical hit, negative list, and escalation handling.
  • Basic exposure to SAP-based operational environments such as BPS or GTS is suggested for faster role readiness.
  • Working knowledge of screening flows for business partners, employees, transactions or documents, and payments.
  • Understanding of when to release an alert, place a case on hold, or escalate it to the relevant stakeholder.
Responsibilities
  • Process alerts routed through SAP Global Trade Services in accordance with the defined screening process.
  • Review and compare Bosch data against sanctions list data using the required decision points.
  • Execute screening support for vendor, customer, employee, transactional or document, and payment alerts as applicable to assigned work queues.
  • Update system decisions clearly and save each transaction with the required reason or remark.
  • Support semi-automatic screening for systems not connected with Global Trade Services using the specified Excel and comma-separated values preparation approach.
  • Support manual screening requests received through defined tools or email and share the outcome with the requestor in line with the process.
  • Escalate exceptions, unclear matches, and system or data visibility issues through the approved stakeholder route.
  • Maintain a complete audit trail, remarks, and evidence-backed decision rationale in the operational systems and trackers used by the process.
  • Adhere to BGSW data security and confidentiality requirements for personnel working on BPS processes.
  • Compare Bosch data with listing data, document screening decisions, and maintain audit-trail discipline.
  • Perform Sanction Party List screening activities across Bosch SPL operations for business partners, vendors, customers, and employees worldwide.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience reviewing Office of Foreign Assets Control general and specific licenses and applying them to real-world transaction scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of global sanctions frameworks, including Office of Foreign Assets Control, European Union, and United Nations frameworks, and their practical application.
  • Experience with screening portals such as Reguvis and Dow Jones and strong understanding of validating the information provided.
  • High attention to detail when comparing Bosch and listing data.
  • Promptly escalate potential concerns rather than making unsupported decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Confidentiality, professionalism, and control discipline when handling sensitive screening information.
