(NEWS) BUFFALO, New York, United States, 2026-Sep-26 - /Travel PR News/ - Food is becoming a bigger part of the game-day experience at Buffalo's KeyBank Center, where Delaware North Sportservice is rolling out a new concessions programme for the Buffalo Sabres' 2026-27 season that stretches from player-inspired snacks to faster grab-and-go service and refreshed premium hospitality. The most distinctive additions put Sabres players Josh Doan and Zach Benson at the centre of the menu. The Dough-ner, inspired by Doan, wraps birria, cilantro, onion, Monterey Jack, mozzarella and tomato inside a fresh pizza-dough pocket and is served with birria gravy. It will be sold at the La Nova stand at Section 116. Benson's namesake Benson BarnBurger layers a burger patty with pulled pork, bacon, roasted garlic mayonnaise, Canadian cheddar and Benny sauce on a brioche roll. Fans will find it at Coca-Cola stands near Sections 101 and 305. Details of the new season menu were released by Delaware North and are also outlined by the Buffalo Sabres. "Benny had told us he wanted a burger named after him, so we had a lot of fun bringing that idea to life," said Michael Buonopane, executive chef for Sportservice at KeyBank Center. He added that working with both players gave the culinary team an opportunity to create items that felt personal to them. A menu designed to keep changing. Rather than treating the opening menu as a fixed season-long offer, Sportservice is continuing a rotating concessions programme introduced previously at the arena. New selections are planned approximately every 10 games, giving repeat visitors and season ticket members different choices as the schedule progresses. The first rotating group includes The Heater, a double burger with pepper Jack cheese, ghost pepper barbecue sauce, candied bacon and chipotle mayonnaise; the two-foot Spice Bomb nachos with chorizo, chili, queso and jalapeños; Taco Pizza; Peach Crumble Fried Dough; a Beaver Tail and Chocolate Bacon Milkshake; and a Bear Claw Pretzel. The Sabres say this first rotation is scheduled from October 3 through November 15. Day games get their own breakfast-inspired specials. Brunch Nachos combine bacon, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, beer cheese, maple syrup and green onion, while The Hangover is a double burger with bacon, egg, pepper Jack cheese and chipotle cream cheese. Faster stops and expanded social spaces. The food changes extend beyond individual dishes. A second grab-and-go market is being added on the arena's 100 Level near the entrance to Section 100. The Market sponsored by Sahlen's will stock familiar arena staples including hot dogs, nachos, pretzels with cheese and popcorn, with eight self-checkout kiosks intended to shorten the stop between the action. The newly introduced Michelob Ultra Lounge will also broaden its food service, adding four bar points of sale and made-to-order items prepared on a live-action grill, including hand-carved beef on weck and fried bologna. The lounge is open to all fans attending events at KeyBank Center. Clubs and suites get a refresh. At the premium end of the arena experience, Delaware North will operate the all-inclusive food and beverage programme in the reimagined 1970 Club, an exclusive space for Signature Seat members. The refreshed club has new furnishings, an upgraded sound system and ten new 75-inch televisions. Signature Seats for the 2026-27 season are sold out, according to Delaware North. Club-level menus are adding beef and cheese empanadas with chipotle aioli, personal 10-inch La Nova pizzas and loaded footlong corn dogs. Suite guests will see a churrascaria menu featuring Brazilian pork loin, Cornish hen, cheese bread, Brazilian beans and squash, alongside chicken riggies and brioche bread pudding. Together, the changes show how arena hospitality is moving beyond a single concessions counter model. For Sabres fans, the practical result is a broader range of quick-service, social and premium dining choices spread across KeyBank Center, with enough rotation built into the programme to make the food offer change during the season rather than only between seasons.

Delaware North commits $1 million to Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. July 7, 2026 Main caption: Leaders from Delaware North, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy and the city of Buffalo on July 7 announced a transformational partnership, including a $1 million investment from Delaware North, to support the long-term sustainability and daily stewardship of Buffalo's historic Olmsted park system. Pictured at the press conference are (from left to right): City of Buffalo Interim Parks Commissioner Steve Buccilli, Deputy Mayor Maria Whyte, Service Collaborative of WNY Executive Director Kate Sarata, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Board Chair Amy Abrahamson, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Executive Director Catie Stephenson, Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan and Delaware North CEO Jerry Jacobs Jr. Delaware North on July 7 announced a transformational $1 million gift to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy (BOPC). Directed to the Conservancy's newly launched Endowment Campaign, the gift will support the long-term sustainability and daily stewardship of Buffalo's historic Olmsted park system, which consists of 850 acres of urban parks, parkways and circles designed by America's first landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted over 150 years ago. Delaware North also announced support for The Service Collaborative's Buffalo Service Corps to place five AmeriCorps volunteers in the Olmsted parks to supplement the conservancy's operations team. Working alongside conservancy staff, members will support specialized projects across the park system, including landscape stewardship, ecological management, restoration initiatives and horticultural projects. Delaware North CEO Jerry Jacobs Jr. announced the gift at a press conference alongside BOPC Executive Director Catie Stephenson, Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan and The Service Collaborative of Western New York Executive Director Kate Sarata. "The Olmsted parks belong to everyone," Jacobs said at the event. "They are one of the things that make Buffalo so special, and they deserve the kind of steady, enduring support that allows them to thrive. This is an investment in the long-term care of these parks and in the generations of Buffalonians who will enjoy them in the years ahead." The $1 million gift advances the conservancy's endowment campaign, an effort to establish a permanent source of support for the operations and maintenance of Buffalo's internationally significant Olmsted-designed parks and parkways. Income generated from the endowment will provide long-term financial stability and help safeguard the future of Buffalo's historic landscapes. "Delaware North has stepped forward as a true leadership partner, making an extraordinary investment in both the future of Buffalo's parks and the work required to care for them today," Stephenson said. "Their leadership gift to our endowment campaign will help ensure these historic landscapes remain vibrant and sustained for generations to come, while their support for a new partnership with The Service Collaborative strengthens our ability to care for the park system today." The gift is a continuation of Delaware North's long history of financial and volunteer support of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Since 2017, the company has contributed more than $450,000 to the conservancy for numerous mission-critical projects, and the company's team members volunteer annually within the parks during Earth Month.
