Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
A Washington EL01 or EL07 license is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute complex equipment maintenance.
Install, start up, test, inspect, repair, program, tune, maintain, and calibrate electrical equipment in a heavy industrial environment, including low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment, AC and DC motors, motor controls, switchgear, programmable logic controllers, variable-frequency drives, and other heavy industrial equipment related to pulp and paper mill operations.
Work with Maintenance and Operations personnel to troubleshoot and repair process-related challenges.

Medium-voltage experience is preferred but not required.

$41.70 - $44.79 per hour journeyman rate. Inland Empire Paper Company is a state-of-the-art paper manufacturing facility in Spokane, Washington. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to plan and execute complex equipment maintenance.
Install, start-up, test, inspect, repair, program, tune, maintain and calibrate electrical equipment in heavy industrial environment including low, medium and high voltage, AC and DC motors, motor controls, switchgear, PLC’s, VFD’s and other heavy industrial equipment related to pulp and paper mill operations.
Tasks also include working with other Maintenance and Operations personnel to troubleshoot and repair process related challenges.

Additional Information
Journeyman pay rate is $41.70 - $44.79/hr. Additional pay can be earned as skills/certifications are obtained.
4-10 day shift schedule, includes one weekend and one swing shift rotation every 5-6 weeks, with 6 days off prior to the weekend shift.
Less than journey-level skill and experience will be considered for well qualified candidates.
