  • A BA/BS degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Information Technology.
  • Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer (ZDTE) certification.
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in network security engineering.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Zscaler Internet Access, including web filtering, DNS security, cloud firewall, bandwidth controls, and advanced threat protection policies in enterprise-scale environments.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Zscaler Private Access, including application segment configuration, access policies, connector deployment, and zero trust network access architectures replacing legacy virtual private network infrastructure.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing Zscaler Branch Connector, including Border Gateway Protocol or static routing configurations and network segmentation, replacing traditional software-defined wide area network platforms.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing Zscaler Cloud Connector in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including workload traffic inspection and integration with cloud-native networking constructs.
  • At least 5 years of experience configuring and tuning Zscaler advanced security features, including Cloud Sandboxing, Advanced Threat Protection, Intrusion Prevention, Cloud Browser Isolation, and Data Loss Prevention policies.
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing and troubleshooting Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security inspection within Zscaler Internet Access, including certificate management, decryption policy design, bypass rules, and certificate-pinned applications.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Zscaler AI-powered capabilities, including AI-driven policy recommendations, Digital Experience Monitoring, and Zscaler artificial intelligence and machine-learning-based threat intelligence for automated threat response.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience defining, managing, and reviewing Zscaler security policies, including rule-base optimization, policy lifecycle management, access reviews, and role-based access controls in the Zscaler Admin Portal.
  • Experience implementing ZIdentity for centralized identity management.
  • At least 4 years of experience with one or more major cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure, to deploy Zscaler Private Access application connectors within cloud-native architectures.
  • At least 4 years of experience deploying Zscaler Cloud Connector.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on the work and clients served.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design, deployment, and operational management of Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access solutions across complex enterprise environments.
  • Manage zero trust network access transformation workstreams, including replacement of legacy virtual private network infrastructure and modernization of enterprise access controls.
  • Provide technical leadership for configuring and optimizing Zscaler capabilities, including policy administration, Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security inspection, advanced threat protection, data loss prevention, and cloud-based traffic inspection.
  • Oversee implementation of branch, cloud, and application connector architectures across on-premises and public cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Direct the development and quality assurance of technical deliverables, solution architectures, and client-facing recommendations aligned with enterprise security, network transformation, and operational objectives.
  • Lead client and delivery teams through execution by managing workplans, risks, dependencies, stakeholder communications, and issue resolution.
  • Help clients modernize network security through cloud-delivered zero trust architectures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Cisco Internetwork Expert Security, Certified Cisco Network Professional Security, or GIAC equivalents such as GPEN and GCSA.
  • Ability to conduct Secure Access Service Edge vendor competitive analysis and advise clients on solution selection, including Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, and Netskope.
  • Ability to conduct Zero Trust Architecture assessments and develop roadmaps aligned with NIST SP 800-207 or the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model.
  • Experience integrating Zscaler with security information and event management or security orchestration, automation, and response platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Palo Alto XSOAR.
  • Experience with Zscaler APIs and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python for provisioning, policy management, and configuration-as-code workflows.
  • Experience designing and presenting Zscaler solution architectures tailored to client requirements and translating technical concepts for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with identity-provider integrations such as Okta, Azure Active Directory, and Ping Identity for Security Assertion Markup Language or System for Cross-domain Identity Management authentication within Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access deployments.
  • Previous consulting or Big Four experience delivering enterprise network security or Secure Access Service Edge transformation engagements.

AI forces companies to rethink hiring practices as job applications surge and entry-level pipelines shrink

Business Insider convened 15 HR and C-suite leaders in Davos to discuss how AI is reshaping hiring and talent pipelines. The roundtable, presented by Indeed, revealed growing concerns about entry-level positions and skills assessment. Deloitte's Elizabeth Faber emphasised maintaining a "human-led, technology-powered" approach whilst carefully navigating reduced junior hiring. TCW's Melissa Stolfi noted her firm has downsized its analyst class but maintains a pyramid structure to preserve apprenticeship culture and future leadership pipelines. Indeed's chief economist Svenja Gudell warned that whilst tech employers now demand five-plus years' experience, this creates future talent shortages if junior hiring continues declining. Salesforce's Nathalie Scardino said her company receives two million applications annually and has shifted focus from years of experience to learning aptitude. Deloitte to hire 50,000 employees in India, eyes Mangaluru expansion

Deloitte plans to hire 50,000 employees in India and is evaluating Mangaluru, Karnataka, as a potential new location, according to South Asia CEO Romal Shetty. The company currently employs 140,000 people in India, representing one in four Deloitte employees globally. Shetty said India hosts 50% of all global capability centres worldwide, with significant growth potential in Tier II and Tier III cities. He proposed creating digital economic zones integrating GCCs, GPU-based data centres, startups and academic institutions to accelerate expansion. The CEO called for streamlining GCC setup processes from six months to two weeks, whilst acknowledging infrastructure constraints around energy and water for data centres. Shetty noted Mangaluru offers advantages including talent availability and real estate, adding the company's presence there is a matter of timing.
