Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • TrialMatch launched August 20, 2026, and is free to oncologists through Mednet AI.
  • SWOG partnered with Mednet on prospective testing, strengthening credibility with cancer centers.
  • Mednet's 45,000-member network gives immediate distribution for new products and recurring engagement.

What critics are saying

  • TrialMatch depends on continued NCI funding and SWOG evaluation through 2026.
  • Physician communities face commoditization from Epic, Google, and startup AI copilots.
  • If oncologists ignore TrialMatch, Mednet loses relevance and the platform becomes a low-value forum.

What makes MEDNET Labs unique

  • Mednet reaches 45,000 physicians across 23 specialties in a physician-only community.
  • August 2026 TrialMatch embeds cancer-trial discovery directly into oncologists' workflow.
  • NCI funded TrialMatch with a $2 million SBIR/STTR contract, validating clinical utility.
