  • Experience in automotive manufacturing quality control.

  • Experience with Production Part Approval Process documentation and traceability systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
  • Ability to use Pareto charts and cause-and-effect diagrams.
  • Ability to support root cause analysis using 5-Why and Fishbone diagrams.
  • Ability to assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, quality management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and to bend, squat, and reach overhead as needed.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and exposure to loud noises and dust.
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment as required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of metal components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and specifications.
  • Record inspection results in quality systems and maintain traceability.
  • Prepare inspection reports and non-conformance documentation.
  • Monitor production processes for adherence to quality standards.
  • Report deviations and assist in corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and quality engineers to resolve issues.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Perform incoming material inspection.
  • Perform in-process and final product inspection.
  • Complete non-conformance reporting and containment.
  • Calibrate measurement tools.
