Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, Exercise and Sports Science Australia as an Exercise Physiologist, the Australian Society of Occupational Rehabilitation Counsellors, or the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience working in the relevant profession with appropriate registration.
  • Ability to work on base regularly during the hours of 07:30–15:30.
Responsibilities
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support clients through rehabilitation and healing.
  • Perform assessments according to clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments.
  • Collaborate with injured or ill employees, medical specialists, and other treatment providers.
  • Support veterans and current Australian Defence Force members across Australian Defence Force and Department of Veterans’ Affairs portfolios.
