Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation and/or Administrator, to maintain high-quality resident care.
Provide occupational therapy rehabilitation services in the facility on an as-needed basis.
Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, daily living skills, and overall functional independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists, to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Provide adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient and caregiver education.
Provide care across variable schedules and patient acuity levels.
Desired Qualifications
Sunday coverage is desired; additional weekday coverage is a plus.
