IT Security Engineer
About the job
- Practical experience securing Windows, Linux, and container environments, and working with modern system architectures.
- Relevant cloud security experience with AWS and Azure, and experience designing and implementing modern identity and access management approaches, including single sign-on and multifactor authentication.
- Knowledge of network security, endpoint detection and response, and mobile device management solutions, as well as security-optimization automation technologies.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 or the BSI IT-Grundschutz is preferred.
- Very good German and good technical English, spoken and written.
- Ability to organize and coordinate complex security projects.
- Implement and monitor technical security requirements, including security policies, audits, and information security management systems, in close coordination with responsible system owners.
- Secure and harden SaaS applications, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Configure and technically manage security solutions and monitoring systems, including Trend Micro and Cloudflare.
- Contribute to analyzing and resolving security incidents and continuously support operational vulnerability management.
- Work closely across IT, data protection, and business teams to strengthen the IT security architecture.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 or the BSI IT-Grundschutz.
