Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Seven to ten years of operational multi-unit experience is required.
  • At least five years of management experience leading a team is required.
  • The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, performance management, communication proficiency, customer/client focus, project management, collaboration, business acumen, and presentation skills.
  • The position requires the ability to use standard office equipment, follow written and oral instructions and procedures, and meet the stated sitting, standing, walking, hand-use, reaching, auditory, and visual demands.
  • The position requires up to 50% travel, including possible out-of-area and overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with the executive team.
  • Manage all facets of organizational operational activity with full profit-and-loss accountability.
  • Lead and manage a productive and motivated operations team through communication, empowerment, rewards, and coaching.
  • Ensure operational excellence and identify innovative services and solutions that address client requirements with internal and external partners.
  • Manage client relationships to maintain client satisfaction and account retention.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive change and implement new business processes.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control the operations program.
  • Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with clients, federal or state agencies, and other organizational entities.
  • Confer with leadership team members and staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
  • Implement corrective action plans for organizational or departmental problems when needed.
  • Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sites.
  • Own performance management and hiring for employees within the operations department.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
