About the job

Requirements
  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally on a technical business-to-business product such as an application programming interface, developer platform, or security tool.
  • A track record of shipping machine learning or artificial intelligence products, with enough technical fluency to work credibly with researchers and engineers on model tradeoffs such as accuracy, false positives, latency, and cost.
  • Experience selling into or building for enterprise buyers, and comfort in customer conversations with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong product judgment, including setting priorities with incomplete information, saying no clearly, and explaining why.
  • Excellent written communication, with clear specifications, roadmaps, and updates that enable people across the company to act without a follow-up meeting.
Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap for one deepfake detection product, prioritizing customer needs, emerging deepfake threats, and technical feasibility, and making tradeoffs explicit.
  • Translate enterprise and government customer needs into clear requirements and shipped features.
  • Partner with AI Research and the Red Team to turn model improvements and new threat findings into customer-facing capabilities, with clear success metrics for accuracy, latency, and adoption.
  • Define and track product metrics including usage, activation, retention, and detection performance in the field, and use them to decide what to build next.
  • Support Sales and Solutions Engineering in strategic deals, security reviews, and customer validations, bringing product insight back to the roadmap.
  • Partner with Marketing on positioning, launches, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work with Engineering and Partnerships on platform integrations with communications, identity, and collaboration platforms.
  • Help bring product requirements into compliance and procurement conversations with regulated and public-sector buyers.
  • Own a roadmap that measurably drives revenue, retention, and expansion.
  • Build a product development rhythm of discovery, prioritization, launch, and measurement that the broader team relies on.
  • Serve as the go-to owner for the product area internally and with key customers.
  • Identify the next set of product opportunities as the deepfake threat landscape evolves.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, identity verification, or trust and safety.
  • Familiarity with audio, video, or real-time communications technology, including telephony, WebRTC, or conferencing platforms.
  • Experience selling to government or highly regulated customers, or working at a Series A/B startup where scope regularly outpaces headcount.

The investment will allow KPMG to incorporate deepfake detection capabilities into its cyber and fraud prevention practices. The deal forms part of KPMG's broader focus on helping clients adopt AI whilst managing associated risks. Reality Defender co-founder and CEO Ben Colman said highly convincing synthetic media now challenges traditional assumptions about identity verification. ZeroFox partners with Reality Defender to detect AI-generated deepfakes in external threats

ZeroFox, a global enterprise threat protection company, has partnered with Reality Defender to integrate AI-generated media detection into its platform.
